Watch Council Meetings
To ensure transparency and public access to local government decisions, the City of Irving provides live and recorded broadcasts of City Council meetings. The city makes these meetings available through multiple platforms.
Broadcast Platforms
All regular City Council meetings are broadcast live on:
- Irving Community Television Network (ICTN): Available on Spectrum (Channel 16) and Frontier (Channel 30).
- City Website and YouTube: Live-streamed on the official city website and YouTube channel .
- On-Demand: Recorded meetings are available on the official city website and YouTube channel for later viewing.
Meeting Schedule
Regular City Council meetings occur on designated Thursdays at 7 p.m. at City Hall. Work sessions, which allow in-depth discussion of agenda items, take place earlier in the day. Special meetings may be scheduled as needed.
How to Participate
Residents are encouraged to participate in meetings by:
- Attending in-person and signing up to speak from 6-7 p.m. the day of the meeting
- To provide a presentation to Council for items listed on the agenda, the file must be submit to Information Technology no later than 2:00 p.m. on the Tuesday prior to the work session or council meeting at councilpubpres@cityofirving.org.
