Special Waste Collection
Irving makes it easy for residents to dispose of special waste safely and responsibly. Need to get rid of old paint, batteries or motor oil? Schedule a household hazardous waste pickup to keep harmful materials out of landfills. The city hosts electronic waste recycling events throughout the year. For bulky items like furniture, TV's and appliances, the city has weekly bulk trash collection, and there’s tire disposal service available at the landfill to help prevent illegal dumping.
