Volunteer at the Library
How to become a volunteer at the library:
Please read the information for each type of volunteer below to learn how to apply to volunteer for the library. Here is a general outline of the process:
(Step One) Apply - Complete an application (please click on the section that best fits the type of volunteer opportunity you want to apply for - Adults, Student, etc. - for additional details)
(Step Two) Interview - The Volunteer Coordinator will schedule potential volunteers for an interview, either in person or over the phone. The Volunteer Coordinator will schedule interviews as opportunities to fill roles are available.
(Step Three) Attend Orientation - Accepted volunteers will be scheduled to attend an orientation session, either in person or over the phone.
(Step Four) Volunteer - Receive an exciting volunteer assignment!
Community Service Restitution
The Irving Public Library does not accept court-mandated community service assignments.
