Teen Programs
Whether it's exploring STEM topics, getting creative with crafting, or hanging out with friends to play games and watch a movie, Irving libraries present activities every month the perfect for teens to discover a wider world. Libraries also offer leadership programs known as YAAC and volunteer opportunities for older teens.
Author Visits
Irving libraries are renown for the number of new and bestselling authors it's hosted - over 240 in the past five years! Fan of Middle Grade or YA literature are bound to meet a favorite writer at a library-hosted author panel event or at the North Texas Teen Book Festival in the spring.
Homework Help
Brainfuse is an online tutoring suite for students. Brainfuse tutors can help with homework and assist through a writing lab to help evaluate school reports for grammar and clarity.
Libraries are great places working on a school assignment, writing a research paper, or studying for a big exam. Whether checking out a study room or using the library's online resources, we can help you research a topic or prepare for AP, End-of-Course and college entrance exams. Every library also has free Wi-Fi, public PCs, and fax/scan/print services.
