Presentation Request
Thank you for your interest in the Irving Police Department. We strive to be available to answer your questions and to actively interact with our community. Our police officers are available to provide engaging presentations on a variety of topics relating to crime and community safety.
Officers dedicated to providing community presentations work normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Community events outside of normal business hours generally involve altering officers’ schedules or the use of paid overtime. Requests, especially those outside of normal business hours, will be reviewed by senior staff to minimize disruption of normal department operations and to ensure fiscal responsibility. All of our specialized sections, including Tactical, Traffic and K-9 are assigned set shifts and must comply with a rigorous training schedule and may not be available during your requested time. If the requested officer or section is unavailable to attend your event, we will attempt to have an on-duty patrol element respond, call-load permitting.
If your organization wishes to host a presentation, training, or event with our highly trained police officers, please submit the Presentation Request Form below at least 30 days in advance.
After submitting this online form, a representative from the requested section will contact you to discuss the request.
