- General Safety Guidelines
- All swimmers must follow the instructions of lifeguards at all times.
- Lifeguards have the authority to enforce all pool rules and regulations.
- Failure to comply with rules or creating an unsafe environment may result in removal from the pool.
- Health and Safety
- Do not swim if you have been ill with diarrhea in the past two weeks.
- Extended breath-holding activities are dangerous and prohibited.
- Changing diapers within 6 feet of the pool is prohibited.
- Admission and Supervision
- Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.
- Children 7 years of age and younger must be supervised within arm's reach by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible person over 18.
- All swimmers may be required to demonstrate their swimming ability before being allowed to swim.
- Slide Rules
- All riders must be at least 48" tall or able to pass a swim test.
- The maximum rider weight is 300 lbs.
- No flotation devices are allowed down the slide.
- Only one rider is allowed on the slide at a time.
- All riders must ride feet first.
- Prohibited Items and Activities
- No divingin the pool.
- No profanityor inappropriate behavior.
- No horseplay, roughhousing, or inappropriate conduct.
- No glass containersare allowed in the pool area.
- No runningaround the pool.
- No alcohol, tobacco products, or illegal substancesof any kind are permitted.
- No gumis allowed in the pool area.
- No petsallowed in the pool area.
- Food and Drink
- Food, drinks, and coolers are allowed at City of Irving spray parks and outdoor family aquatic parks.
- No glass containersare allowed in any Irving aquatic facility.
- No alcoholis allowed at Irving aquatic facilities.
- Personal Items and Security
- The pool is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- All personal belongings should be secured in the designated areas.
- Behavior and Disciplinary Actions
- Any individual repeatedly breaking the rules or causing an unsafe environment will be asked to leave the pool area.
- The pool manager on duty has final discretion regarding rule enforcement.
- Other Important Notes
- All swimmers must have acceptable swimsuit. A towel and sunscreen are highly encouraged.
- Only U.S. Coast Guard-approved flotation devices are allowed.
- No flotation devices are allowed on the slide.
- All swimmers must adhere to posted pool rules and respect others’ space and safety.

What should I bring to the pool?

Acceptable swimwear is required; a towel and sunscreen are highly encouraged. Optional items include goggles (without nose coverage and non-glass), water shoes, and U.S. Coast Guard-approved flotation devices.
Are there swimming lessons available?

Swimming lessons are available for all ages and skill levels. Check our learn to swim schedule for more information and to register.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Food, drinks and coolers are allowed at City of Irving spray parks and outdoor family aquatic parks.
Concessions will be available on site. No glass, alcohol, metal utensils. (All coolers will be inspected by staff)
Coolers over the size of 24”x15”x18” will be charged a $5 cooler fee. Our general rule of thumb is if it can be carried its good, if it is on rollers we will measure it.
Are life jackets available at the pool?

Life jackets are available for free at the pool.
Are there any age restrictions?

Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. Children 7 and under must be supervised within arm's reach by a parent, legal guardian, or a responsible person over 18. Please review our full rules for additional age-related guidelines.
Is the pool accessible for people with disabilities?

The pool is accessible, with ramps and other accommodations available. Please contact us ahead of time if you require additional assistance.
What happens if the pool closes due to bad weather?

In the event of severe weather, the pool may close temporarily. Please call ahead for updates. No rain checks will be given.
Can I host a party or event at the pool?

Pool rentals are NOT available for private events.
What form of payment is accepted at the pool?

The following forms of payment are accepted at the pool:
- Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express)
- Cash
- Contactless payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
