KIB is a grassroots, volunteer-based, nonprofit organization, recognized by the State of Texas and certified as a charitable 501(c)3 organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Individual, civic and business contributions to KIB are tax-deductible.

KIB affiliated with both Keep America Beautiful and Keep Texas Beautiful in 1992.


Through KIB's leadership, Irving was recognized as a Governor’s Community Achievement Award winner in 1996, 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022 by the Office of the Governor, the Texas Department of Transportation and Keep Texas Beautiful.

KIB is strongly supported by the City of Irving, as well as dozens of caring individuals and local firms.


Meetings

KIB Board meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month (except December) at 11 a.m. at the Keep Irving Beautiful office, 3000 Rock Island Road.
