Streetscape Beautification

Streetscape revitalization initiatives enhance connectivity, safety, and vibrancy by transforming public corridors into walkable, multi-modal spaces. These efforts support local businesses, encourage community interaction, and promote long-term economic growth—building more inclusive, resilient, and people-centered neighborhoods.

Irving Blvd.

The Irving Blvd. revitalization project redesigned a section of the corridor into a multi-modal urban street that better serves vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists. By reducing vehicle lanes to two, space was created for parallel parking, wider sidewalks, a dedicated bike lane, and streetscape enhancements. Designed in 2020 and constructed from 2021 to 2025, the project enhances safety, accessibility, and the overall downtown experience.
