Patrons may go online at www.CityofIrving.org/IrvingRec or in person at the administration office to make a reservation. 

The auditorium is situated on the west side of the first floor in the Jack D. Huffman Community Building, located at 801 W. Irving Blvd., directly across from the Irving Archives & Museum.

No. The lobby area is not included in auditorium reservations.

  4. Audio-visual equipment (must be reserved in advance)

Yes, but it must be reserved in advance. Equipment includes a screen, projector and audio system. Renters must provide their own laptop, microphone and cables/HDMI cords. 

Visit the Parks & Recreation Administration office on the second floor, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patrons with after-hours reservations should speak to the security guard.


Yes. Security is required for after-hours and weekend reservations. An additional fee will be charged. 

Parking is available outside the building or in the City Hall parking garage in any space not marked "Reserved". Patrons may not park in the roundabout outside the building facing Rock Island Road.

Tables and chairs are stored in the closet area located in front of the kitchenette bar along the left wall.

The restrooms are situated on the north side of the first floor, near the building entrance facing Rock Island Road.

The kitchenette may only be used to reheat food. Cooking is prohibited. The following amenities are included in the kitchenette: 


  1. Refrigerator
  2. Microwave 
  3. Coffee Machine (patrons must bring their own coffee grounds and filters)
  4. Ice Machine
  5. 2 sinks (patrons must bring their own dish soap) 


No key is necessary; the auditorium will be unlocked during the hours of your reservation. 

Patrons must bring their own trash bags. At the end of the reservations, patrons may leave the trash bags outside the auditorium doors for custodians to collect. 

Nails. thumbtacks, tape, etc., must not be used to attach decorations to the structure or furnishings. Decorations may be used on the tables only. Candles, incense or other flammable materials are prohibited.

No. Patrons may not bring additional equipment to the auditorium such as a bounce house, tables and chairs, grills, tents, etc. 

Patrons may not enter the facility prior to the start time of their reservaton and shall not stay in the facilty after; setup and cleanup must be completed withinthe timeframe of the reservation.
