The City of Irving is committed to supporting its residents through a variety of housing assistance programs designed to promote support and reinforce the American dream of home ownership, stability and affordable living conditions. Below are some of the key initiatives available.
Down Payment Assistance Program
Funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, this program provides financial assistance to qualified applicants in the form of a zero percent interest, deferred forgivable loan.

Funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, this program provides financial assistance to qualified homeowners for home repairs through partially forgivable loans.

Funded by Housing and Urban Development Department, the Housing and Redevelopment Division provides housing assistance to Irving residents who are currently homeless.
