Recent Successes

Infrastructure Upgrades (2023-2024)
  1. The team spearheaded the $25 million Street Improvement Program, repaving over 50 miles of roads between March 2023 and February 2024.


Public Safety Enhancements (2023)
  1. In June 2023, the team partnered with the Irving Police and Fire Departments to launch the Real-Time Crime Center, integrating surveillance and data analytics to reduce crime in high-risk areas.
  2. A new emergency response dispatch system, launched in September 2023, improved average response times by 12%.


Economic Development Wins (2023-2024)
  1. Between July 2023 and February 2024, the team played a critical role in securing three major corporate headquarters relocations to Irving, adding over 1,500 new jobs.
  2. The Small Business Grant Program, launched in January 2024, has already supported over 200 local businesses with funding for expansion.
Sustainability and Water Conservation (2023-2024)
  1. The citywide Smart Irrigation Program, launched in August 2023, has reduced municipal water usage by 15%.
  2. A transition to LED streetlights, completed in December 2023, has cut energy consumption by 30%.
