CDBG, ESG, HOME Grant Applications
The City of Irving annually receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and Home Investment Partnership Grant (HOME) funds from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Eligible nonprofits and Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDOs) can apply to administer these funds, on behalf of the City of Irving, to its low- to moderate-income residents.
When applications for a program open, Housing and Redevelopment will hold information sessions for interested parties that reviews the program and provides instruction for submitting the application.
Interested and eligible organizations are encouraged to subscribe to email notices about upcoming application openings and information sessions.
Status: The application window is now open, and the deadline is Friday, April 4, at 5 p.m. No late or incomplete application will be accepted.
CDBG funds can be used to address a range of Housing and Community Development activities. The City of Irving is seeking applications from eligible organizations to assist low- to moderate-income Irving residents.

Application Training + Information Session
Two CDBG Application Training sessions will be held at City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd., in the First Floor Council Conference Room:
- Friday, March 21 | 8:30 a.m. or 1 p.m.
All interested organizations applying for the first time or proposing a new program must attend one of these two application training sessions.
