All book clubs are intended for adults 18 and up with the exception of the Kids' Summer Book Club.
Book Lover's Happy Hour
WHERE: South Irving Library
WHEN: 6 p.m. every other month
ABOUT:
An informal discussion group for readers who like to talk about books!
Each session focuses on a general theme, rather than an individual book.

May 19 - Friends in Fiction
Sometimes the ideal picture of best friends is found in books! These could be bosom buddies, siblings, the kid next door, etc. What makes these relationships memorable?
Jul. 28 - Color Your World
Art enriches lives. The focus this summer is on books about artists and the different genres of art, including visual, musical and theatrical.
Sep. 29 - Up All Night
Share some page turners that keep a reader going non-stop, even past bedtime!
Nov. 24 - Leave 'Em Laughing
Humor is said to be the hardest thing to write. Readers are invited to share which authors made them laugh.
Girls' Night Out

This women’s only club reads and discusses books about family relationships, love, friendship, and self-discovery.

Heritage Book Club is an informal group of mature book lovers who read and discuss a wide variety of titles, from recent literary bestsellers to classic novels. Readers must belong to the Heritage Senior Center in order to join.

Register a non-library facilitated book club and check out one of the library's Book Gab to Go! kits to use with a book club. The kits contain 10 copies of the book along with supplemental materials such as reading group guides, an author biography, and book reviews.
Book Gab to Go! kits check out for an extended loan period of six weeks.
Two kits may be checked out simultaneously and can be reserved in advance.
