Create an ActiveNet Account
To enjoy and make a reservation at the recreation centers, aquatics facilities or park pavilions, an Irving Parks and Recreation account is required.
Irving Parks and Recreation facilities are available to Irving residents and nonresidents, through the department’s online reservation system, ACTIVENet.
Step 1: Create an Account
Visit ActiveNet and select "Create an Account." Enter the required information for the head of household and any family members registering for classes. Patrons without internet access can use computers at city libraries. Recreation center staff are also available to help.
Step 2: Purchase a Membership
A membership is required for all Irving Parks & Recreation (IPAR) programs and recreation center reservations (except Heritage Aquatic Center). Memberships must be purchased in person and are valid for one year. Bring photo ID for resident rates.
Step 3: Get Your ID Card
Visit any neighborhood recreation center to complete the ID card process, including a photo. Members 12 years and older receive an ID card, while children 11 years and under must be registered but won’t receive a card.
Step 4: Explore & Sign Up!
Check out the Program Guide Catalog to discover exciting classes, events and programs at recreation centers—featuring aquatic and athletic activities, plus programs for all ages, from preschoolers to seniors. There's something for everyone!
