Sanitation Service Discount

A 20 percent discount on single-family residential solid waste service for residents 65 years of age or older or for those who collect Social Security Disability.

Senior Citizens must provide proof of birth date and Driver's License.


Social Security Disability recipients must provide proof of one of the items below.

  1. Letter from the Social Security Administration
  2. Check Stub
  3. Verification from the Dallas Central Appraisal District

Pursuant to the provision of Section 33-14 of the Code of Civil and Criminal Ordinances of the City of Irving, Texas, application is hereby made for a 20% discount on single family residential sanitation service.
