Liquid Waste Transporters Requirements and Application
A Liquid Waste Transportation Permit is required to transport liquid waste within the City of Irving.
Permit Validity
Permits are valid until December 31 of the calendar year they are issued.
Vehicle Inspection
Before a new permit or renewal is approved, the transporting vehicle must be inspected by a Water Utilities Environmental Compliance Specialist or Inspector.
Inspection Scheduling
Inspections are conducted Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Valley View Municipal Complex, 333 Valley View Lane, Irving, TX 75061. Multiple vehicles can be inspected at a more convenient location if needed.
Required Items for Inspection
- Liquid Waste Transportation Application
- TCEQ registration letter
- Valid vehicle insurance
- Copies of the Owner/Manager and legally responsible individual drivers' licenses
- $150.00 application fee for the first application and $100.00 for each consecutive application.
- At this time, the City of Irving only accepts payments in form of cash or checks.
Permit Maintenance
A copy of the liquid waste hauler permit must be kept in each permitted vehicle at all times.
Pump Out Manifests Submission
- Manifests must be submitted to the POM Portal within 10 days of waste disposal at an approved site.
- If not registered, you must register and sign in as a user.
- Contact the City of Irving if facility information is missing or inaccurate in the portal.
Field Inspections
Periodic field inspections will be conducted to ensure compliance.
